Assignment:
1. Take a self-portrait, bring it into Photoshop, and add some "filter
enhancement" to it. Try different combinations of filters. Save your file as
"Photoshop - Filter". Then print your work.
2. On a seperate page, write an analysis by answering the following questions:
- Describe the combinations of filters you used to get your final result.
- What impression were you trying to communicate?
How did you use the filters to accomplish this?
- What did you learn from this exercise?
Tips:
- For palettes go: Window/Show navigator, colour, swatches, brushes
- Click tab/shift tab to hide/show palettes.
- Use the zoom tool - try it!
(Or: Command + or Command --)
- Use the "Big Hand" tool to move the picture around.
- Go to "Filters" to make special effects.
- Under "IMAGE" menu, use the "Transform" tools to distort the image.
- Made a mistake and want to go back to your original version?
- Go "FILE/Revert To Saved".
