Part A - The Project
Design a Kenora area tourism brochure (fiction or non-fiction) that
shows particularly strong use of elements or principles of design
that you have selected. Some suggestions for topics are:
- a music festival or event
- outfitters
- shopping places
- hunting and fishing industry
- nature attractions
- a resort, motel, hotel, campground, bed & breakfast
- history
- an attraction
Guidelines:
Colour - May be designed in colour or black & white depending on desired effect.
Paper - Specialty papers may be used. Watch for problems this might create.
Content - Although the content may be fictional, it must be tasteful and believable.
Software - Select a program or programs that suit(s) your design needs.
Part B - The Analysis
In a paragraph, discuss strengths and weaknesses of your
design and make suggestions for improvements, regardless of whether
these ideas are beyond your design or technical capabilities.
Include in your analysis any difficulties you encountered and
how they were resolved.
